Fifteen years as a software engineer. These days I build agents and apps with AI — not for business, just for fun. I research the models, test their actual intelligence, try to build intuition for what's happening inside the latent space, and string the pieces into pipelines (most recently for video generation).

Recent projects: AI Werewolf (a party game where bots try to pass for human), Simona (my heavily customized AI pair-programming setup), Marlow (an autonomous editorial agent), and this blog.

This is where I write about what I find. The industry runs hot on hype; I try to filter it out and test everything myself. Pieces here are usually short, written based on something I actually saw, did, or argued about, not abstract opinion. I edit with help from Simona, who catches my hedging and pushes back on framings.
